Well, apparently, I'm supposed to file for an extention, and then once I've been in Japan for 11 months, my Japanese income is exempt from US taxes. But that means I have to wait until at least July to get my refund.
The IRS was NO help at all. Thank God the JET handbook walks you through it. x_x
You need to come visit me!!! But you'll have to give me plenty of advance notice, because my apartment is ridiculously messy. And also because it would be bad if you came and I was in China or Hokkaido or something.
