A (cute) drunk guy just asked me to have the last of his takoyaki, and then started yelling "Sakura beautiful!" until his not-quite-as-drunk friend apologized and pulled him away. XD Hanami = crazytime.
Strangely, I went hanami-ing today as well, and my group of friends got called out to sit on a tarp with some Japanese people. They were actually really nice, and almost caused us to miss the last train >_>;;;;;
Where did you Hanami? We were at Kiyomizu-dera and that park next to it. We saw the light-up stuff! :D
ORLY? I went to the Gion light-up and Maruyama Koen. You got tarped! I'm jealous. XD I spent the day in Oharano, though, and everyone there was super friendly.
Actually, I'm waiting for my grandpa to come over with another refrigerator (we've gone through two in three weeks -_-) so I'm stuck in the corner of the room with my laptop, since the rest of the room is taken over by things I had to move out of the way. x.x Hence hayai!
Okay! I should know my locale... within the next three weeks! ::dodges tomatos::
Well, they put me with a housing agent yet, so now it's in their hands!
I arrive at Kanku at 5:30 MAY 7TH OMG SOON. And then they'll pick me up at a nearby station and take me to my new home.
They did, however, tell me that it's a 99% chance I'll be in Kyoto, Osaka, or Kobe, and here's a map of all the schools, so I'll be in these locations: http://www.ecc.jp/school/kinki_area/index.html
HAHAHA, that map is so Japanese. XD None of them are close close, but I can get to Shijo and Kyoto eki without having to change subway lines. So try for one of those, plz.

Also, what happens when you arrive at the airport? Does ECC pick you up and whisk you away somewhere, or are you on your own?
