Another sick day. >.> I wish I could take them without feeling so guilty about it! I mean, the doctor put me on five different medications, and they make me really sleepy and weird, and it's not wrong to stay home, right?

I always feel guilty taking sick days, but sometimes you just have to. Feel better?

Oh, god. I feel so the same way. I've only taken one day off at work and I was sitting in my room bawling... It was kinda pathetic. >>

:[ Hope you feel better. *snugs*

I tended to feel that way too, especially since I don't get paid sick days and for the last few years I've spent ALL of my vacation days as sick days. Maybe if I took a vacation I wouldn't get sick?

But I've eased up about it. When I was younger I never, ever took sick days. I would be no better than a zombie, but I would go and I would tough it out because, hey, I was still conscious, right? (well... most of the time...) and sometimes I'd just remain sick for weeks. But now that I'm older I have a new appreciation for just sitting home and being sick IN PEACE. Is it worth a day's pay to not get out of bed and to let your swirly brain leak out your ears in the comfort of your own home?

I SAY ABSOLUTELY YES!

I just let my boss know in the morning and warn him that he can use the 'Bat Phone' if he really needs it, but there is no guarantee of coherence on my part. I get better faster this way too.
